NSBA Cost of Production Tool
In 2023, the NSBA Board was tasked with creating a Tool to assist Nova Scotia Beekeepers scale up their businesses and interests to help address the demand in the province for quality pollination services supporting our Agricultural sector.
The objective was to develop an interactive Cost of Production Model for NS beekeepers to help new entrants, and existing beekeepers determine the economic feasibility and profitability of entering the industry or business expansion
With assistance from the team of Matthew Boland, of the Saint Mary’s School of Commerce, this has now been realized. Matthew will be at the upcoming NSBA Annual General Meeting on February 24, 2024, to answer questions relating to the below tool.
